Walt is a twenty-two-year-old farm boy who lives on a farm near Andrew, Iowa. He is the ammo carrier for the Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) handled by Bob Durango. They are good friends because they connected over their contrasting upbringing.
Walt lives with his parents on a cattle farm in the middle of nowhere. They grow corn and wheat and can spend an entire day without saying a word to another human being.
Walt’s dream is to move to the big city where people and cars and noise abound. He’s had enough of a life where the nights are so dark one cannot see his hand in front of his face. Walt yearns for human interaction.
Walter spent most of his younger days in the field.
