Roland is a twenty-five-year-old man from Monterey Park, California. He lives with his parents and younger brother in a nice home in a quiet neighborhood. Life has been relatively easy for Roland.
Before joining up, Roland worked in the men’s department of the The May Company department store in Los Angeles. He hated everything about the job – the long bus ride, the suit and tie, having to shave every day, and the clientele – but his father lined up the work for him and he couldn’t disappoint.
Whether it was the stress of the job or a natural affinity to tobacco, Roland found his true love in Lucky Strikes cigarettes and is rarely seen without a smoke between his lips. His love was so strong that even his manager at The May Company asked if he could cut back during business hours.
Roland’s dream is to take the money he’s earned over the years and disappear to a new place that doesn’t require a suit and tie.
